The road into the Basin
Vernal sits out in the Uintah Basin, east of the Wasatch Front on US-40. Getting there means climbing east out of the valley and over the mountain passes, then dropping down into the Basin, with the Uinta Mountains standing to the north the whole way. It is remote country, and that is exactly why direct freight into it is worth paying for.

What we haul to the oil field
Most Vernal freight is energy freight. Replacement parts and components, equipment moving between yards and sites, pipe and construction materials for field work, and the occasional oversized piece that still fits inside our deck limits. It rides on one-ton class trucks and gooseneck flatbeds under DOT-compliant securement with chains, binders, and tarps, and we photograph the load before tarping and again at delivery so you have a record.
One honest limit is worth stating up front. We do not haul placarded hazmat, so anything that needs a hazmat placard is not a load we can take. We also do not run livestock or household-goods moves. For a piece that is bigger than our decks handle, we route it through our brokered freight network rather than force it onto a flatbed that is wrong for the job.
After-hours dispatch for booked accounts
The oil field does not keep office hours, and neither does an emergency part. For booked accounts we hold after-hours and weekend capacity, so the line-down freight that comes up outside of a normal workday still has a truck to put it on.
This is where a standing relationship earns its keep. If you run an account with us, your urgent Basin freight has priority and a dispatcher who already knows the lane, instead of a cold call to a stranger who has never run US-40. It is not a round-the-clock promise to the whole world, it is planned capacity held for the accounts that book it.
Direct over the mountains, no transfers
The distance and the isolation are the whole argument for going direct. A big carrier moving freight into the Basin usually stages it through a terminal and transfers it between trucks, and each handoff is another chance for your load to sit or go missing. Over a run this long that adds up.
We skip all of it. The driver who loads your freight on the Wasatch Front is the one who unloads it in Vernal, and if your final drop is out past town at a site somewhere in Uintah County, we scope that when you send the details. One truck, one driver, one point of contact from pickup to delivery.
