This policy describes how Utah S Hotshot LLC (doing business as Utah's Hotshot) collects and uses your information. It covers this website, hotshotnow.net, and the information you give us when you request a quote, contact us, sign up as a carrier, send a dealership transport order or book a load with us.

What we collect

We collect what you give us, plus a little technical information when you visit the site.

Quote requests. Your name, email address, phone number and what you tell us about the load.
The contact form. Your name, email address, phone number, whether your question is about dispatch, an update or billing, and your message.
Carrier sign-up. Your name, email address, phone number, company name, DOT number, the routes you run, and your power units and trailers.
Dealership transport orders. The salesperson's name, the customer's name, phone number and email address, the vehicle's stock number, year, make, model and VIN, who is paying for shipping, the pickup and drop-off addresses, whether the vehicle is ready for release and when, and any notes.
Text message consent. If you tick a text message box on one of our forms, we record which boxes you ticked, the version of the wording you saw, and the time and IP address of your consent, as a record that you agreed.
Loads we move. What you tell us by phone or email about the job, plus photos of the load at pickup and delivery and a signature at delivery as proof of delivery.
Site visits. Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site that sent you here. Our hosting provider and the tools described under Cookies and tracking collect it.

How we use it

To answer your quote request or question, and to schedule, move and deliver your load.
To call or email you about your quote, your load or your question, and to text you only if you opted in to texts.
To carry out dealership transport orders.
To review carrier sign-ups and follow up with the carriers who send them.
To keep our forms free of spam and to see how the site is used so we can improve it.
To keep business records and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, with the people needed to move your load, and when the law requires it. Our providers and the people moving your load each get only what they need for their part of the work.

Postmark, which delivers the emails our website forms send us.
Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website and runs the Turnstile spam check on our forms.
Google Analytics, which measures how the pages on this site are used.
Our customer management system, where we keep track of leads and customers.
The carrier or driver assigned to your load, when we arrange it, who receives only the pickup and delivery details needed to move it.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in on one of our forms, Utah S Hotshot LLC (doing business as Utah's Hotshot) sends text messages about projects, appointments, and service-related updates, such as your quote, pickup and delivery updates and, for carriers who sign up with us, load offers. Only if you separately consent, it also sends occasional marketing messages about special offers, discounts, and service updates.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for help.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase, and full program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics (GA4) and self-hosted Umami analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as the pages viewed, time on site and which links are clicked. GA4 sets cookies to tell visitors apart. Umami does not use cookies.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam check that looks at basic signals from your browser to tell people from bots. The reviews on our Reviews page appear in a widget served by our reviews provider, which may set its own cookies. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.

We do not use any of these for advertising or to follow you across other websites, and we do not run retargeting or ad pixels. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out add-on, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Data security

Your information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our email and hosting providers, who maintain their own security safeguards. We keep only what we need to run the business, and access is limited to authorized staff.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it to run the business and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it. For text messages, replying STOP always works. For anything else, email team@hotshotnow.net or call (801) 676-9732.
