Hotshot trucking in
Draper, UT.
Draper climbs from the freeway up to Traverse Ridge, and the loads climb with it. Same-day hotshot hauling onto the tech-corridor pads and the hillside sites alike.
Draper runs uphill
Most of the valley is flat freeway floor. Draper is the exception. The city starts down at I-15 and the Point of the Mountain and then climbs east, hard, up the bench toward Traverse Ridge. Freight in Draper has to go where the buildings are, and in this town that often means uphill on grades a loaded truck has to respect. That is the first thing we plan for on a Draper run.
We are based just south in Bluffdale, so Draper is effectively next door. The truck is not crossing the valley to reach you, it is coming up from the Point. That proximity is why same-day pickup is the norm here, and why we already know the roads, the grades, and which parts of the city a loaded flatbed can actually get to.
The climb to Traverse Ridge
The east side of Draper is where the grade gets serious. The hillside neighborhoods climbing Traverse Ridge sit hundreds of feet above the valley floor, and a lot of what we haul up there is material and equipment for homes still under construction on the slope. Narrow hillside streets, steep driveways, and switchback access are normal, and they are exactly the conditions a full semi cannot handle.
This is where the hotshot format earns its place. Our one-ton class trucks and gooseneck flatbeds move up the grades and into tight hillside sites a tractor-trailer has no business attempting. We strap the load down with DOT-compliant chains, binders, and tarps, photograph it before we tarp and again at the drop, and send the pictures to your inbox so condition is never a question after a rough climb.
The office and tech corridor
Down on the valley floor, Draper has become one of the more built-up office and tech corridors on the south end of the county. The stretch along I-15 is lined with corporate campuses and commercial buildings, and that kind of tenant generates its own freight. Equipment moving between offices, oversized components, and the occasional one-off piece that has to arrive on a schedule.
These are not always big loads, but they are often time-sensitive and awkward to ship any other way. A single pallet, a bulky piece of equipment, or a one-off oversized item does not need a full trailer. It needs a truck that can pick up now, run it straight through with one driver, and hand it off without a terminal stop in the middle. We quote it flat rate up front so the paperwork is as clean as the delivery.
Rebuilding the Point
The old state prison site at the Point of the Mountain is being redeveloped into one of the largest projects in the state, and Draper sits right on top of it. A build-out on that scale runs for years, and it runs on a constant flow of construction materials and equipment moving in and out of the site.
That is bread-and-butter hotshot work. Lumber, pipe, rebar, and palletized materials to the active pads, compact equipment like skid steers and mini-excavators shuttling between yards and the job, and the short-notice runs when a crew is waiting on a part. We confirm we have the right deck for the piece before we commit, and if something is bigger than our trailers handle we route it through our brokered freight network instead of leaving you stuck.
A short run from home base
Because Draper is just up I-15 from our yard, this is one of the fastest markets we serve. Same-day pickup on the Wasatch Front is the standard, often within hours of your call during dispatch hours. Call before noon and a same-day run further out is usually on the table too.
For booked accounts we hold after-hours and weekend capacity for the runs that will not wait, the line-down part or the delivery that slipped. You talk to a real dispatcher, and the driver who loads your freight is the one who climbs the hill and drops it. No broker chain, no handoff, no re-explaining the route to a stranger.

Questions
Draper freight, answered.
How fast can you reach a Draper job site?
Draper is just up I-15 from our Bluffdale base, so it is one of our quickest markets. Same-day pickup is the norm and often within hours of your call during dispatch hours. Call before noon and a run further out the same day is usually possible too.
Can you get materials up to the hillside sites on Traverse Ridge?
Yes. The steep east-bench neighborhoods are exactly where the hotshot format wins. Our one-ton trucks and gooseneck flatbeds handle the grades and tight hillside access a tractor-trailer can't, and we confirm the right deck for the load before we roll.
Do you haul for the office and tech corridor along I-15?
Regularly. A single pallet, a bulky piece of equipment, or a one-off oversized component does not need a full trailer. We pick it up, run it straight through with one driver, and send photo proof of condition at pickup and delivery.
Can you move construction freight for The Point redevelopment?
Yes. We run construction materials and compact equipment to active sites across Draper, including the Point of the Mountain build-out. Send the weight and dimensions and we'll confirm the deck and securement, then quote a flat rate up front. If it's bigger than our decks, we route it through our brokered network.
